Book Review: Andi's Pony Trouble

Andi's Pony Trouble
Circle C Beginnings, Book 1

by Susan K. Marlow
(Kregel Publications)

About the Book

Andi wants a horse of her own more than anything in the world, but her mother says she's too young. Stuck with riding Coco, the hand-me-down pony, Andi sets out to show her family that she's ready for a horse.

About the Series

Children ages 6-8 can join six-year-old Andi, her friend Riley, and Coco, Andi's hand-me-down pony, for a whole new series of adventures on the Circle C ranch in 1874. A baby Taffy will join the ranch as well! These are completely new stories, with fun, black-and-white illustrations and easy-to-read text, for kids who are ready for first chapter books.

My Daughter's Review

Do you want to read a story about horses and a little girl that trouble always discovers? Then Andi's Pony Trouble by Susan K. Marlow is the book for you.

First, it is very exciting. Andi has trouble with eggs and a rooster. She leaves her hand-me-down pony in the wilderness! Does Coco come safely back home?

Second, you will learn important lesons in this book. For example, be careful when you are doing things and think about your decisions that you make.

I would recommend this book for anyone who likes horses and ponies, and who really wants to turn the pages.
